In the summer of 2020, Awet sat down with the country's most powerful and notable people to unpack their connection to system racism. Five hundred and eighty-eight people participated in the discussions on the island of Martha’s Vineyard. One of those individuals was artist Caroline Harris who asked Woldegebriel how she could contribute. Woldegebriel asked her to draw something that visually displays the 588 people who took action and committed to dismantling systemic racism.
The result is a colorful take on our Goitom Hoodie and Joggers made of lightweight French Terry. We are releasing this set to commemorate George Floyd Life and the fight for systemic equality and equity. In his honor, we will donate 30% of the proceeds to NAACP and National Urban League.
