Áwet New York has joined forces with UPS in a year-long collaboration that champions BIPOC small businesses. The collaboration’s centerpiece is a transformed NYC store called “Livewear,” where emerging fashion designers will be chosen to showcase their designs at the 57 Bond street storefront. This luxury space has been transformed to celebrate diversity and innovation, while also serving as a resource hub. UPS will be the official shipping and logistics partner for the storefront.

How UPS and Áwet New York will support:

UPS and Áwet New York will cover operating expenses at Livewear for participating designers to be featured in-store.
Designers receive full access to a dedicated premium showroom space and sales support to maximize exposure, community engagement, market testing and curate a luxury shopping experience for customers for launches/private events.
Designers will retain the entirety of profits generated at the storefront.
Designers may design the next UPS Be Unstoppable capsule collection (since 2022, UPS has partnered with designers to collaborate on the Be Unstoppable capsule collection, in which 100% of the profits from their collections went back to funding the next generation of fashion creatives.)
May be included in promotional marketing and advertising initiatives throughout the year.

Criteria for Small Business to qualify & be showcased at Livewear:

Must be an emerging BIPOC small business owner.
Brands must have inventory to take part of space.

Must be a UPS customer and ship with UPS during the term. Do not have to be a current UPS customer to apply.
